NCERT RECRUITMENT 2024: VACANCIES FOR ASSISTANT EDITORS, PROOF READERS, AND DTP OPERATORS

The National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) is actively seeking qualified candidates to fill vacancies for Assistant Editors, Proof Readers, and DTP Operators. The selected candidate for NCERT Recruitment 2024 will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 80000, and the engagement will be on a contract basis for a duration of 04 years. A total of 170 vacancies are available for NCERT Recruitment 2024, each having different age restrictions.

To be eligible for NCERT Recruitment 2024, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University. The selection process involves a skill test/interview scheduled for 02.02.2024 and 03.02.2024 at Publication Division, NCERT, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi-110016.      • Post Graduate Diploma in Book Publishing/Mass Communication/Journalism (with editing as one of the subjects)
     • 5+ years of experience in editing, producing, planning, and supervising publications
     • Knowledge of book production techniques and modern processes of printing and typography
     • Proficiency in English/Hindi/Urdu
     • Desirable: Word processing and online editing techniques
   • DTP Operators:
     • Graduation in any subject
     • One Year Diploma/Certificate course in desktop publishing
     • Minimum 3 years of experience in a reputable publishing house
     • Proficiency in In-design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Equation Editor, Microsoft Word, typing in Hindi and English
     • Desirable: Knowledge of Quark Express and Corel Draw, prepress preparation
   • Proof Reader:
     • Bachelor’s degree in English/Hindi/Urdu
     • 01-year experience in a Printing or Publishing organization as a Copy Holder/proofreader
     • Working knowledge of Computer
     • Desirable: Knowledge of Typography
5. Tenure for NCERT Recruitment 2024: The appointment is for a period of 04 years, as per the official notification.
