The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is accepting online applications for the position of Library and Information Assistant.
Vacancy Information:
According to UPSC Recruitment 2024 notification, there is only one vacant position available for the Library and Information Assistant role.
Salary Details:
Selected candidates will receive a monthly remuneration within Level 06 (Rs.35400-Rs.112400) of the Pay Matrix in the UPSC Office.
Appointment Tenure:
The appointment is on a deputation (short-term contract) basis for an initial three-year period, with the possibility of extension as per Department of Personnel (DOP) and Training (T) guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates should not exceed 56 years of age.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science from a recognized University or Institute is required.
