AIIMS New Delhi is seeking qualified applicants for the roles of Senior Resident/Senior Demonstrator across various departments, with a total of 517 vacancies available.
Salary
The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary as follows:
- Medical Candidates: The pay scale may be modified per the 7th CPC, or it may be Rs. 18,750 + 6,600 (Grade Pay) + NPA in addition to other usual allowances. Starting salary is Rs. 67,700 in the Pre-revised Pay Band-3 of the salary matrix, Level 11 Pay.
- M.Sc. with Ph.D. Candidates (Non-Medical): Salary will be Rs. 56,100 at Level 10 under the 7th CPC plus other usual allowances.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following qualifications to apply:
- Anaesthesiology Pain Medicine and Critical Care: MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology from a recognized university/institute or an equivalent qualification.
- Onco. Anaesthesiology: MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology or DM/DNB (Onco. Anaesthesiology) from a recognized university/institute or an equivalent qualification.
- Palliative Medicine: MD/DNB in Palliative Medicine/Anaesthesiology/Medicine/Genetics Medicine/Oncology (Surgical/Medical/Radiation) from a recognized university/institute or an equivalent qualification.
- Cardiac-Anaesthesiology: MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology or DM/DNB (Cardiac Anaesthesiology) from a recognized university/institute or an equivalent qualification.

Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 45 years, with age relaxation as follows:
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
- OBC Candidates: 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) General Category: 10 years
- PWBD OBC Category: 13 years
- PWBD SC/ST Category: 15 years
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be selected based on a Written Examination/Computer-Based Test and an Interview. Detailed information regarding the selection process will be communicated later to shortlisted applicants.
