Tenure for NHAI Recruitment 2024
The deputation period for these positions is ordinarily 3 years, which may be extended for an additional 2 years with the approval of the Chairman, NHAI.
Required Qualification and Experience for NHAI Recruitment 2024
Chief General Manager (Legal)
- Qualification: Degree in Law from a recognized University/Institute.
- Experience: 17 years of service in Group-‘A’ Pay Scale of Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay Rs.5400 (pre-revised) or equivalent, with at least 7 years in law related to contractual matters, arbitration, legislative matters, or land acquisition.
General Manager (Finance)
- Qualification: Degree in Commerce/Accounts from a recognized university, or ICAI/ICWAI/MBA (Finance) from a recognized University/Institute; OR Member of any organized Group-‘A’ Finance/Accounts-related Service of the Central or State Government.
- Experience: 14 years in the Pay Scale of Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay Rs.5400 or equivalent, with at least 7 years in financial accounting, budgeting, internal audit, contract management, fund management, or disbursement.
General Manager (Land Acquisition and Estate Management)
- Qualification: Degree from a recognized University/Institute.
- Experience: 14 years in the Pay Scale of Pay Band-3 (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay Rs.5400 (pre-revised) or equivalent, with at least 5 years in handling land acquisition matters.

Salary for NHAI Recruitment 2024
Chief General Manager (Legal)
- Salary: PB-4 (Rs.37400-Rs.67000) with Grade Pay Rs.10000 (pre-revised), equivalent to Pay Level-14 (Rs.144200-218200) of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
General Manager (Finance)
- Salary: Level-13 (Rs.123100-Rs.215900) / PB-4 (Rs.37400-Rs.67000) with Grade Pay Rs.8700 (pre-revised).
General Manager (Land Acquisition and Estate Management)
- Salary: PB-4 (Rs.37400-Rs.67000) with GP of Rs.8700 (pre-revised), equivalent to Pay Level-13 (Rs.123100-Rs.215900) of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Hindi Translator
- Salary: PB-2 (Rs.9300-Rs.34800) with GP of Rs.4800 (pre-revised), equivalent to Pay Level-8 (Rs.47600-151100) of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Junior Hindi Translator
- Salary: PB-2 (Rs.9300-Rs.34800) with GP of Rs.4200 (pre-revised), equivalent to Pay Level-6 (Rs.35400-112400) of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
