The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is seeking to fill the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the discipline of Mechanical Engineering. According to the DRDO Recruitment 2024 official notification, there is only one vacancy available for this position.
Age Limit

Qualification Requirements
Candidates must possess a Graduate Degree in a professional course (B.E./ B.Tech) in a relevant subject or discipline, with first division marks, and have qualified GATE. Alternatively, a Post Graduate Degree in a professional course (M.E./ M.Tech) in the relevant subject or discipline with first division marks at both the graduate and postgraduate levels is acceptable.
Salary
The selected candidates for the JRF position will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 37,000.
Selection Procedure
The selection process for the DRDO JRF position will be based on an interview conducted by the committee.
Tenure
The initial tenure for the JRF position is two years, with the possibility of an extension for an additional four years, as per the DRDO Recruitment 2024 guidelines.
