Recruitment Overview
This recruitment drive is for permanent Constable positions in the Haryana Police, including Male Constable (General Duty), Female Constable (General Duty), and Male Constable (Government Railway Police). Selected candidates will perform tasks such as maintaining law and order, supporting public safety operations, patrolling duties, and other responsibilities assigned by the department. Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on CET merit
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT) – qualifying stage
- Physical Screening Test (PST) – qualifying stage
- Knowledge Test – objective OMR exam with 97 % weightage; no negative marking for wrong answers (but unattempted questions may attract a penalty if the fifth option isn’t marked)
- Minimum qualifying marks: 50 % (General), 40 % (Reserved)
- Additional weightage (up to 3 marks) for NCC certificates
- Final Merit List: Based on Knowledge Test marks + additional weightage
