The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) is seeking candidates for the positions of Professor, Additional Professor, and Associate Professor at its New Delhi and Goa campuses. According to the official notification of AIIA Recruitment 2024, there are 20 vacancies available. The educational qualifications required vary by subject. Qualification Required
Professor (Kayachikitsa/Shalya/PTSR/Translational Research):
- Officer from Central/State Government/Autonomous Institutions/PSU with analogous posts or 4 years as an Additional Professor or 8 years as an Associate Professor.
- Degree in Ayurveda, MD/MS (Ay.) recognized by CCIM/NCISM, and PhD in the concerned subject.
- 14 years of postgraduate teaching and/or research experience.
Professor (Pharmacology):
- Medical qualification under Schedule I, II, or Part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956/NMC Act 2019, and MD in Pharmacology.
- Master’s degree in relevant fields with 14 years of postgraduate teaching and/or research experience.
- PhD in the concerned subject.
Additional Professor (Roga Nidan and Vikriti Vigyan/Panchakarma):
- Degree in Ayurveda recognized under CCIM Act 1970/NCISM Act 2020 and MD/MS (Ay.) in the concerned subject.
Associate Professor:
- Degree in Ayurveda recognized under CCIM Act 1970/NCISM Act 2020 and MD/MS (Ay.) in the concerned subject.
- 6 years of postgraduate teaching and/or research experience.
Salary
- Additional Professor and Associate Professor: Pay Level-13 A1
- Professor: Pay Level-14A
Tenure
The initial tenure for deputation is 2 years, extendable based on mutual consent.
Selection Procedure
Selection will be based on document verification and written examinations.
