Bank of Maharashtra has released a notification inviting online applications for the engagement of 600 Apprentices on a contractual basis under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The last date to apply online is 25 January 2026. Candidates are advised to apply only after confirming that they meet all prescribed eligibility conditions.
Selected candidates will undergo one year of apprenticeship training, which will include practical exposure and on-the-job learning in accordance with the Bank’s operational requirements.

Other Eligibility Requirements
- Candidates from all Indian States and Union Territories are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be proficient in the local language of the State/UT applied for (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Proof of local language proficiency must be available through 10th or 12th standard certificates/mark sheets.
- Candidates who have already completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training in any organization are not eligible.

Selection Process
The selection will be carried out through a merit-based process. There will be no written examination or interview. A state-wise merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in the 12th (HSC / 10+2) or Diploma examination.
Candidates will be ranked in descending order of marks. In case of a tie, older candidates will be given preference. Shortlisted applicants will be called for document verification and medical examination, followed by completion of apprenticeship formalities.
On successful completion of training, apprentices will be awarded a Certificate of Proficiency by the National Council.

How to Apply
Eligible candidates must submit their applications online only within the specified dates by following these steps:
- Verify eligibility with respect to age, qualification, and local language requirements.
- Keep a valid personal email ID and mobile number active throughout the recruitment process.
- An Aadhaar Card is mandatory; alternatively, a 28-digit Aadhaar enrolment ID may be used.
- Complete the initial registration using basic details such as name, mobile number, and email ID.
- A provisional registration number and password will be sent via SMS and email.
- Log in and complete the application form with accurate personal, educational, and category details.
- Upload scanned documents as per specifications:
- Photograph: 200 × 230 pixels, 20–50 KB (live photo capture mandatory)
- Signature: 140 × 60 pixels, 10–20 KB, black ink on white paper
- Left Thumb Impression: 240 × 240 pixels at 200 DPI, 20–50 KB
- Handwritten Declaration (English only): 800 × 400 pixels at 200 DPI, 50–100 KB

There is no requirement to send a printed copy of the application to the Bank. Candidates are advised to retain a copy of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.
