NITI Aayog and the United Nations in India have signed the Government of India – United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (GoI-UNSDCF 2023-2027). This framework aims to support India in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by focusing on areas such as health, education, economic growth, and the environment. The cooperation framework will also emphasize SDG localization and South-South cooperation, highlighting India’s leadership in implementing the SDGs.
The GoI-UNSDCF was developed through collaboration between NITI Aayog, government ministries, state governments, UN agencies, civil society, and other stakeholders. The implementation and monitoring of the framework will be jointly led by the Government of India and the United Nations through a Joint Steering Committee. The signing of this framework marks a critical milestone as India progresses towards its vision of a sustainable and inclusive future.

The revision aims to provide better accommodations for athletes during international competitions and considers the complete hospitality packages offered by LOCs, which include additional expenses beyond boarding and lodging.
