IISc INUP Training: Hands-on Nanofabrication and Characterization Techniques

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, is offering a practical training program in Nanofabrication and Characterization Techniques from September 4 to September 14, 2023. The program is open to young faculty members and Ph.D. candidates with research interests in related fields. Application deadline: August 24, 2023.

Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2023: National Science Talent Search Exam

VVM 2023 is a talent search exam for science students in grades 6 to 11. The exam aims to promote science among students and identify bright minds with scientific aptitude. Participants have a chance to win cash prizes up to Rs. 2,000 per month, training, internships, and scholarships at national research institutions. The last date to apply is September 15, 2023, and the exam will be held on October 29 or October 30.

Delhi University Admissions 2023: B.Com Emerges as Most Preferred Course

This year, Delhi University received the highest number of applications for the B.Com programme, with a total of 2,00,551 students choosing it as their preference. Kirori Mal College emerged as the most preferred college, with 72,769 students applying for the B.Com programme. The first merit list for undergraduate admissions was announced on August 1, 2023, after 3,04,699 students registered for the admissions process.

Government Plans to Clarify NExT Exam Date for Medical Students

The government is instructing the National Medical Commission (NMC) to issue a new notification clarifying that the National Exit Test (NExT) for medical students will be conducted in 2025, not 2024 as previously announced. The NMC had postponed the exam following protests, and the first NExT will be taken by the 2020 MBBS batch. The NExT will replace NEET-PG, FMGE, and final-year MBBS exams for all undergraduate medical students in India.


NEET PG Round 1 Counselling Choice Filling Closed, Seat Allotment Result on August 7

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has closed the choice-filling and locking facility for NEET PG round 1 counselling. The seat allotment result will be declared on August 7 at mcc.nic.in. Shortlisted candidates must upload documents on August 8 and report to allotted institutes between August 8 and 14 for verification. Candidates allotted a seat can opt for free exit or participate in the second round, while seat upgrades can only be done after physical reporting at the college/institution.

Uttarakhand NEET UG Counselling Round 1 Provisional Seat Allotment Result Released

HNBUMU has published the provisional seat allotment result for Uttarakhand NEET UG counselling round 1. Candidates can check the result on the official website hnbumu.ac.in. The college/course/quota selection is based on NEET UG 2023 merit and security money deposited during the application process. The last date to join the allotted college is August 8, 2023. Candidates who didn’t get an MBBS or BDS seat can participate in the second round of counselling.

GU LLB Merit List 2023 Released for Round 1

Gujarat University has published the final merit list of LLB for round 1. Candidates can check their GU LLB seat allotment result and download the merit list from the official website: oas2023.guadmissions.in using their user ID and password. The last date to download the merit list is August 7, 2023, and candidates allotted a law college must pay the admission fee online by August 8, 2023. Further rounds of seat allotment will be conducted for candidates not offered admission in the first round.

DASA 2023: NIT Calicut Choice Re-filling for Special Round

NIT Calicut will initiate the choice re-filling process for the special round of DASA 2023 on August 5. Eligible registered candidates, who haven’t received any seat allotment yet, can fill their choices through the candidate’s portal on the official DASA website – dasanit.org. The DASA UG result will be announced on August 7 at 5 pm, and selected candidates must report to their allotted institute between August 10 and 14, 2023.

NID DAT 2023 Cut-off for BDes Programme Released

The National Institute of Design (NID) has published the cut-off for the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme. The cut-off list includes the rank and score of the final candidate admitted in each category. Candidates can check the category-wise cut-offs on the official website. Factors influencing the cut-off include seat intake, the number of candidates, merit rank, category sought, and last year’s cut-off trends.

NVS Class 6 Registration 2024 Closing Soon: Apply Now

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will close the registration window for class 6 admissions on August 10. Students and parents can apply online at navodaya.gov.in. The admission test will be conducted in two phases: Phase 1 on November 4, 2023, and Phase 2 on January 20, 2024. Applicants must not be born before May 1, 2012, and after July 31, 2014. Make sure to provide the required documents during registration.

BHU Releases First Merit List for PwBD UG Admissions

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has published the first merit list for PwBD category students for undergraduate admissions. Candidates can check the result on the official website. The next list for PwBD candidates is expected on August 4, and the allotment process for general category students will begin on August 5. Candidates must appear before the Medical Board for verification by August 10 and carry required documents for admission based on the first merit list.

NCET 2023 Exam City Intimation Slip Released

The National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2023 exam city intimation slip has been released. Candidates can download the slip from the official website: ncet.samarth.ac.in by entering their application number and date of birth. The NCET exam is scheduled for August 9, 2023, and it is for admission to 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programs in selected Central/State Universities/Institutions. The intimation slip is not the admit card, and the admit card will be issued later. In case of any issues, candidates can contact NTA at 011-40759000 or ncet@nta.ac.in.

CBSE 10th Compartment Result 2023: Pass Percentage and Statistics

CBSE has announced the class 10th compartment result, with an overall pass percentage of 47.40%. Among the students who appeared in the compartment and improvement exams, 60,551 passed out of 1,27,622 students. The pass percentage for girls is 49.90%, while for boys, it is 46%. Students can check their results on the official website using their roll number, school number, date of birth, and admit card ID.

JELET 2023 Result Announced: Rank Card Available for Download

The results of the Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET) 2023 have been declared on August 4, 2023. Candidates can download their rank cards from the official website: wbjeeb.nic.in. The rank card contains important details such as candidate’s name, roll number, date of birth, category, obtained scores, and rank. Qualified candidates will be eligible for lateral entry into the 3rd semester of Engineering/Technology and Pharmacy courses. The counseling session will commence after the results are announced, and the counseling schedule will be released on the official website.

AP OAMDC Seat Allotment Result 2023 Declared: Download Seat Allotment Order Now

The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has announced the seat allotment result of the Online Admission Module for Degree Colleges (OAMDC) on August 4, 2023. Registered candidates can access their seat allotment order on the official websites – cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and oamdc-apsche.aptonline.in. To view the results, candidates must enter their registration number, date of birth, and security code in the login window. Shortlisted candidates are required to report to their allotted colleges between August 5 and August 7, 2023. The AP OAMDC is conducted for admissions into various UG courses in degree colleges across the state, including BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, B.Voc, etc.


MH CET LLB 5 Year CAP Round 3 Final Merit List 2023 Released

Maharashtra State CET Cell has published the final merit lists for MH CET LLB 5 Year CAP round 3 counselling. Candidates can check and download the merit lists for MS, OMS, Ex-servicemen, and NRI categories from the official website llb5cap23.mahacet.org. The list of candidates not qualified for final merit is also available. The merit list includes important details such as State Merit No, Name of Candidates, CET Marks, HSC %, SSC %, etc.

MPSOS Result 2023 Declared for Class 10th and 12th Open School Exams

The Madhya Pradesh State Open School (MPSOS) has announced the results for the June session open school exams for classes 10th and 12th. Candidates can check their results on the official website: mpsos.nic.in by entering their roll number or OS roll number. The results include details such as the student’s name, roll number, date of birth, parent’s name, overall grade, grade breakdown by subject, and qualifying status.
