Grade C & D Recruitment 2024(Stenographer) Out at ssc.gov.in, Apply Online!

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Stenographer Grade C & D Examination 2024 Notification. Candidates interested in SSC Stenographer Steno Grade C & D Recruitment 2024 can apply online from 26th July 2024 to 17th August 2024. Important Dates:

  • Application Begin: 26/07/2024
  • Last Date for Apply Online: 17/08/2024 up to 11 PM only
  • Pay Exam Fee Last Date: 18/08/2024
  • Correction Date: 27-28 August 2024
  • CBT Exam Date: October / November 2024
  • Skill Test Exam Date: As per Schedule

Application Fee:

  • General / OBC / EWS: ₹100/-
  • SC / ST: ₹0/- (Nil)
  • All Category Female: ₹0/- (Exempted)
  • Correction Charge: ₹200/- First Time, ₹500/- Second Time
  • Pay the Exam Fee Through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E-Challan Offline Fee Mode Only

Age Limit as on 01/08/2024:

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 27 Years for Grade D
  • Maximum Age: 30 Years for Grade C
  • Age Relaxation Extra as per SSC Stenographer Examination 2024 Rules

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Grade C: Passed 10+2 Intermediate Exam from Any Recognized Board in India
    • Stenographer Group C Transcription:
      • English: 40 Minutes
      • Hindi: 55 Minutes
  • Grade D: Passed 10+2 Intermediate Exam from Any Recognized Board in India
    • Stenographer Group D Transcription:
      • English: 50 Minutes
      • Hindi: 65 Minutes

How to Apply:

  1. SSC OTR Instruction: Complete the one-time registration (OTR) on the SSC website ssc.nic.in.
  2. SSC Photo Instruction: Upload a live photo through a webcam or the official SSC App, ensuring a light/white background.
  3. Document Preparation: Ensure all required documents, such as ID proof, address details, and eligibility proofs, are ready and scanned.
  4. Application Submission: Preview and check all details before submitting the application form. Pay the required application fee to complete the form.
  5. Print Out: Take a printout of the final submitted form.
