Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) invites applications for 550 positions of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Qualification Criteria:
To be eligible for the Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2024, candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Only candidates whose results were declared between April 1, 2020, and August 1, 2024, are eligible. They must present Mark Sheets and Provisional Degree Certificates as required by the Bank.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
Stipend:
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend based on the category of the branch they are placed in:
- Metro Branches: ₹15,000 per month
- Urban Branches: ₹12,000 per month
- Semi-Urban/Rural Branches: ₹10,000 per month
Selection Procedure:
Candidates will be selected through an Online Examination, followed by a local language test (where applicable), and an interview.
