The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) invites eligible candidates to apply online for 4002 permanent posts of Constable in the Home Department. Mode of Recruitment
The selection process will consist of a written test, followed by a Physical Standard Test (PST) and a Physical Endurance Test (PET). The written test will comprise multiple-choice questions. Candidates will be shortlisted for the PST and PET based on their performance in the written test. The PET will include a 1600-meter race for male candidates (to be completed within 6 minutes and 30 seconds) and a 1000-meter race for female candidates (to be completed within 6 minutes and 30 seconds).

- Other candidates of Jammu and Kashmir State: Rs 700/-
