COPA, Welder, Stenographer & More Vacancies open at NHPC Limited

NHPC Limited, a unit of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, is inviting applications for a 01-year Apprenticeship Training program in various ITI Trades at Tanakpur Power Station. The vacancies, qualifications required, and other details are as follows:

Vacancies Details:

• Total Vacancies: 64
• Trades/Disciplines: COPA, Welder, Stenographer & Secretarial Assistant, Plumber, Electronic Mechanic, Electrician, Fitter, Mechanic (MV), Wireman, Turner, Machinist.

Qualification:

• Educational Qualification: 10th + ITI Passed (Result awaited candidates should not apply). Passed out ITI candidates during 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023, 2024 are eligible to apply.
• Training Duration: 01 Year

Stipend:

• Stipend will be paid as per Apprenticeship Act, 1961.

Age:

• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on 10.05.2024. Relaxation in upper age is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Government guidelines.

Reservation:

• Reservation guidelines under Apprenticeship Act will be followed. Applicants claiming reservation must provide the necessary certificates.

Physical Standards:

• Minimum physical standards as prescribed in the Apprenticeship Rules 1992 are applicable.

Duration of Training:

• The training period is one year, and the contract will be terminated automatically after completion of the apprenticeship.

Preference:

• Preference will be given to candidates from Champawat District followed by candidates from Uttarakhand State.

• Candidates must register on the apprentice website and apply against the vacancies.
• Application along with self-attested copies of relevant documents should be sent to the provided address.
• Application deadline is 10.06.2024.

Selection Process:

• Selection will be based on marks secured in ITI. In case of a tie, the candidate with higher age will be considered.
• List of selected candidates will be published on the NHPC website.

• Last date for receipt of application: 10.06.2024
