Overview
SJVN Limited, a Mini Ratna, Category-I, and Schedule– ‘A’ CPSE under the administrative control of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, is inviting applications for the recruitment of Field Engineer, Jr. Field Engineer, and Field Officer positions. This recruitment drive aims to fill 16 vacancies in various disciplines. The online application process is active and will remain open until November 14, 2023.

Education Qualifications
Candidates interested in these positions should meet the following educational qualifications and age limit:
- Field Engineer (IT): Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology from a recognized Institute/University of India. Age limit: 30 years.
- Jr. Field Engineer (IT): Full-time Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology from a recognized Institute/University of India. Age limit: 30 years.
- Field Officer (Architecture): Full-Time Degree in Architecture from a recognized Institute/University of India. Age limit: 30 years.
- Field Officer (Strategic Management/International Business): Graduate with two years full-time MBA/Post Graduate Diploma with specialization in Strategic Management/International Business. Age limit: 30 years.
Selection Process
The selection process for Field Engineer (IT), Field Officer (Architecture), and Field Officer (Strategic Management/International Business) includes a Computer-Based Test/Written test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The weightage for each stage is as follows: CBT/Written Test – 75%, Group Discussion – 10%, and Personal Interview – 15%.
For Junior Field Engineer (IT), the selection process involves a Computer-Based Test/Written Test only, followed by document verification.
General Conditions
- Only Indian Nationals of age 18 years or above are eligible to apply for SJVN positions.
- Age relaxation is applicable for candidates domiciled in specific states.
- Candidates should ensure they fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying. SJVN will verify eligibility conditions at the time of document verification.
- Candidates should possess educational qualifications from recognized universities/institutes.
- Government employees must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during the interview.
- SJVN follows the Government of India Directives on reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD candidates.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- The engagement is temporary and on a contract basis for an initial period of 3 years, extendable for 2 more years based on performance.
- Any incorrect information in the application may result in termination.
- Candidates called for interviews will be reimbursed travel expenses.
- The management reserves the right to alter the conditions or cancel the engagement process as needed.
