Vacancy Details:

• JPF-01:
  • Education Qualification: First Class MSc. in Botany/Forestry
  • Desirable: Preference given to candidates with research experience in the field.
• JPF-02:
  • Education Qualification: First Class MSc. in Botany, Pathology
  • Desirable: Preference given to candidates with experience in Mycorrhizal Biotechnology/ specialization in mycology/ plant pathology.

Application Procedure:

Interested candidates should submit their applications through Registered / Ordinary Post or By Hand by January 4, 2024. Applications must include detailed information regarding personal details, educational qualifications, and field experience. Attach self-attested photocopies of testimonials along with a passport-sized photograph. Online or email applications will not be entertained.

Selection Process and Interview:

• Candidates fulfilling the educational criteria may attend the interview on January 4, 2024, starting at 10:30 AM at the Institute.
• Applications for each position must be submitted separately along with educational documents.

Eligibility and Age Criteria:

• Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years as of the interview date (January 9, 2024).
• Age Relaxation: 5 years relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates according to approved rules.

Additional Requirements:

• Proficiency in computer applications, especially MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, will be beneficial.
• Candidates should be medically fit to work across different areas of Himachal Pradesh and Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
