Recruitment Announcement: DC Office Una Patwari / Kanungo 2024

The DC Office Una has released a notification inviting applications for re-engagement on a remuneration basis for retired Patwaris and Kanungo officials. Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for 14 Patwari and 04 Kanungo positions.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Retired Patwaris/Kanungos with a minimum of 5 years’ service in any revenue department wing of Himachal Pradesh before superannuation.
2. No pending departmental/disciplinary proceedings against the applicant.
3. Age limit: Not exceeding 65 years at the time of advertisement of vacancies.

Important Instructions:

• The initial engagement period is for 03 months, extendable based on performance and requirement.
• Re-engagement won’t count for any service benefits accrued before superannuation.
• Service will be temporary and can be terminated at any time by the appointing authority.
• Causal leave entitlement after one month of service, but no other leave will be granted.
• Unauthorized absence leads to termination without emoluments for the period absent.
• Retirees must procure a fitness certificate from a Government Hospital.
• TA/DA entitlement at the minimum pay scale applicable to regular officials for official duties’ tours.
• Continuation of medical facilities as per retiree benefits.
• Monthly remuneration based on performance/work conduct certificates issued by the Controlling Authority.
• Services terminated after clearing pending revenue cases.

Note: Existing Patwaris/Kanungos’ promotions won’t be affected due to re-engagement, and the occupied posts will be considered vacant for promotion purposes.
