Recruitment out for ICMR Sponsored Project at PGIMER, Chandigarh

Applications are invited for various positions in the ICMR sponsored project titled “Study of Placental and Neonatal Gene Signatures Responsible for Intrauterine Growth Retardation and Insulin Resistance during Childhood” in the Neonatal Unit, Department of Pediatrics, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

Available Positions and Requirements:

1. Project Research Scientist – I (Non-Medical)
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Age Limit: Up to 35 years
   • Qualification:
     • First-class postgraduate degree OR
     • Second-class postgraduate degree with a Ph.D. OR
     • First-class graduate degree in Engineering/IT/CS (4 years)
   • Remuneration: Rs. 56,000 + HRA @ 18% (Total = Rs. 60,080 per month)
2. Project Technical Support – III (Non-Medical)
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Age Limit: Up to 35 years
   • Qualification:
     • Three years graduate in a relevant subject/field + 3 years experience OR
     • Postgraduate in a relevant subject/field OR
     • First-class 4 years graduate degree in Engineering/IT/CS + 3 years experience
   • Remuneration: Rs. 28,000 + HRA @ 18% (Total = Rs. 33,040 per month)
3. Data Entry Operator
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Age Limit: Up to 28 years
   • Qualification:
     • Intermediate or 12th pass in science stream + DOEACC “A” level certification or 2 years of experience in EDP work
     • Speed test requirement: Not less than 15,000 key depressions per hour
   • Remuneration: Rs. 18,000 per month
4. Multitasking Staff
   • Number of Posts: 01
   • Age Limit: Up to 25 years
   • Qualification: High school or equivalent
   • Remuneration: Rs. 15,800 per month

Application Process:

Interested candidates fulfilling the specified conditions are requested to appear for a written test on December 19, 2023, at the following times:

• Posts 1 & 2: 9:30 AM in APC Auditorium
• Post 3: 11:00 AM in NICU Seminar Room, Level III, F Block, Nehru Building

There will be no written test for Post 4.

Candidates who qualify in the written test will be shortlisted for interviews on December 22, 2023, at the mentioned times and location.
