Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala, is inviting applications for the positions of Research Associate, Research Assistant, and Field Investigator. These positions are purely on a temporary/contract basis and are part of an ICSSR sponsored Research Project under Special Call for Short-term Empirical Research 2023-24 titled “Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana: Economic Status, Awareness, and Attitude towards the Scheme among Tribal Community of Himachal Pradesh” within the Department of Education.

Vacancy Details & Education Qualification:

1. Research Associate (One Post)
   • Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in Social Science discipline (minimum 55%) with NET/M.Phil/Ph.D.
   • Desirable Qualification: Experience in data analysis and working on research projects.
   • Age: Preferably below 45 years.
   • Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 40,000/- per month.
   • Duration: 3 months (likely to be extended further)
2. Research Assistant (One Post)
   • Essential Qualification: Ph.D./M.Phil./Postgraduate in social science discipline with a minimum of 55%.
   • Desirable Qualification: Experience in data analysis and working on research projects.
   • Age: Preferably below 35 years.
   • Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 32,000/- per month.
   • Duration: 3 months
3. Field Investigator (One Post)
   • Essential Qualification: Postgraduate in social science discipline with a minimum of 55%.
   • Desirable Qualification: Good communication skills and experience in data collection, data coding, and data processing.
   • Age: Preferably below 35 years.
   • Consolidated Emoluments: Rs. 30,000/- per month.
   • Duration: 3 months
