Vacancy Details:
- Teaching Associate: 05 (UR-02, OBC-02, EWS-01) – Purely on a contractual basis.
Education Qualification: Candidates applying for the Teaching Associate position should meet the following criteria:
- Full-time Master’s Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Administration/Hotel Management/Culinary Art securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized University/Institute.
- For those with a full-time Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma of a minimum 3-year duration, a minimum pre-requisite qualification is 12th as framed by the regulator/university in Hospitality/Hotel Administration/Hotel Management/Culinary Art from a recognized University/Institute, securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate, and at least 2 years of hospitality industry experience.
- Candidates should have qualified NHTET with the prescribed percentage, conducted by NCHMCT.
- Those having a Ph.D. Degree in a Hospitality-related subject from a recognized University/Institute after the above-prescribed qualification need not qualify NHTET.

- Interested candidates who fulfill the prescribed conditions may send their applications on the prescribed format to the Principal, Institute of Hotel Management Catering & Nutrition, Kufri Shimla – 12, by 12/02/2024, up to 05:00 PM.
- Prescribed application form can be downloaded from the Institute’s website: IHM Shimla and may be sent by speed post with a complete bio-data along with a recent passport-size photograph and attested copies of certificates.
- The competent authority reserves the right to cancel the selection process without assigning any reason.
- The Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay.
- NO TA/DA would be paid to the candidates for appearing in skill tests.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected.
