1. Assistant Professor (16 posts): The National Institute of Ayurveda is looking for highly qualified individuals to join as Assistant Professors. The essential qualification for this post is a PG Degree in Ayurveda in the concerned subject, recognized under the IMCC Act, 1970.
2. Accountant (1 post): NII requires an Accountant to handle financial operations. The eligible candidates should have a B.Com. degree from a recognized university.
3. Medical Officer (2 posts): The Medical Officer positions require candidates with an MD/MS Degree in Ayurveda in any discipline recognized and included in the IMCC Act 1970/NCISM Act 2020.
4. Nursing Officer (1 post): NII is seeking a qualified Nursing Officer who holds either of the following qualifications:
- A. B.Sc (Hons.) in Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute or University, or Post basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute or University. The candidate must be registered as a Nurse or Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council.
- B. B.Sc. Nursing (AYUSH) from an AYUSH recognized Institute/University. The candidate must be registered with the respective State/Indian AYUSH Nursing Council.
- C. Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council. The candidate must be registered as a Nurse or Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council and have a minimum of two years of experience in a minimum 25 bedded hospital after acquiring the mentioned educational qualification.
- D. Diploma in Nursing & Pharmacy of AYUSH and registered in the respective State/Indian AYUSH Nursing Council. The candidate must have two years of experience in a minimum 25 bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.
5. Pharmacist (1 post): The Pharmacist position requires candidates who have completed 10+2 from a State/Central Board of Education and possess a regular 3-year Diploma in Ayush Nursing & Pharmacy from a recognized University. Alternatively, candidates with a D. Pharma(Ayurveda)/B.Pharma(Ayurveda) degree from a recognized University are also eligible.
6. Administrative Officer (1 post): Candidates applying for the Administrative Officer post should be officers of Central Govt./State Govt. or UTs/Govt. Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies holding an analogous post with administrative experience. Alternatively, candidates with 5 years of regular service as an Office Superintendent/Assistant Section Officer or 2 years of regular service as a Section Officer can also apply.
7. Matron (1 post): To be eligible for the Matron position, candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of service as an Assistant Matron or in an equivalent post in Pay Level-7 (Grade Pay Rs. 4600) in a State or Central Govt. Hospital.
Age Limits: The maximum age limits for each post are as follows:
- Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 40 years as of the closing date of applications.
- Accountant: Not exceeding 40 years as of the closing date of applications.
