ONGC Energy Centre has announced an extension of the last date for applications for the position of Project Associate. Only one vacancy is available for this post. Tenure

Salary
The selected candidate will receive a salary of Rs. 11.88 lakhs per annum. Upon successful completion of two years, the CTC may be increased to Rs. 13.08 lakhs per annum. Candidates with a Ph.D. are eligible for an additional incentive of Rs. 10,000 per month.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, candidates must have:
- An M.Sc. or equivalent in Microbiology/Biotechnology
- At least 6 years of experience in the Bioenergy domain
Desired Experience:
- Research work on anaerobes/bio-methanation and microbial processes for biofuels/biosurfactant production
Practical Experience:
- Isolation/handling/culturing aerobic and anaerobic microbes such as methanogens, hydrolytic, acetogens, oleaginous yeast, etc.
