Important Dates

Let’s start with the essentials. Mark your calendars with these key dates:

  • Last Date to Apply Online for TEE December-2023: October 15, 2023, by 18:00 PM (without Late fee).

Term-End Examination Schedule

The December 2023 TEE is expected to span from December 1, 2023, to January 6, 2024, encompassing 30 working days. This period is crucial for ODL students as it determines your progress and success in your chosen programs.

Project Evaluation and Practical Examination Fees

Starting from the January 2023 admission cycle, the university has introduced Project Evaluation Fees and Practical Examination Fees for programs that include project and practical components. Make sure you’re aware of these fees and prepare accordingly.

  • Project Fees:
    • Up to 4 Credits: Rs. 300/- per course
    • Above 4 Credits: Rs. 500/- per course
  • Practical Fees:
    • Up to 4 Credits: Rs. 300/- per course
    • Above 4 Credits: Rs. 500/- per course

Examination Fee Structure

Here’s a breakdown of the examination fees for different periods:

  • From September 1, 2023, to October 15, 2023:
    • Examination Fee: Rs. 200/- per theory course
    • Practical Fees: Varies based on credits
    • Project Fees: Varies based on credits
  • From October 16, 2023, to October 25, 2023:
    • Examination Fee: Rs. 200/- per theory course (with Late fee of Rs. 500/-)
  • From October 26, 2023, to November 10, 2023:
    • Examination Fee: Rs. 200/- per theory course (with Late fee of Rs. 1100/-)

Exam Centre Allocation

The university endeavors to accommodate students at their preferred examination centers. However, in case the capacity at a center is exhausted, students may need to choose the nearest or alternate exam center within the jurisdiction of the same Regional Centre. Be prepared for this possibility.

Pre-Requisites for Exam Form Submission

Before submitting your exam form, ensure that you meet the following criteria:

  • Your course registration is valid and not time-barred.
  • You have submitted the required number of assignments for your courses by the due date.
  • You’ve completed the minimum time required for pursuing these courses as per your program’s provisions.

Practical Examination Schedule

Practical examination schedules for various programs will be provided by the concerned Regional Centre. Make sure to stay informed about the practical exams for your specific program.

Hall Ticket

Your Hall Ticket is a critical document. Remember the following points:

  • It’s mandatory for entry into the Examination Hall.
  • The Hall Ticket may need to be submitted when you’re presenting Project Reports, Dissertation Reports, Field Work Journals, Internship Reports, or during Practical Examinations.
  • Changes to the Hall Ticket, such as adding courses, won’t be entertained after its update on the website.

How to Submit Your Exam Form Online

Follow these steps for a hassle-free submission of your examination form:

  1. Carefully select your Regional Centre and Exam Centre code.
  2. Exam Centre allocation is on a first-come, first-served basis. If your chosen center is full, opt for the nearest or alternate center.
  3. Fill the exam form for all your courses in one attempt to avoid changes in the exam center.
  4. If your registration is shown as INVALID or eligible courses aren’t reflected, contact Registrar SRD via email or phone.
  5. Choose a payment gateway on the portal to pay using Debit Card/Credit Card and Internet Banking.
  6. Review the form summary before payment.
  7. Keep a printout of the acknowledgement for future reference.

Refund of Excess/Unsuccessful Examination Fee

In cases of excess or unsuccessful payment, follow these guidelines:

  • Approach your bank for a chargeback after receiving your Hall Ticket.
  • Illegally appearing in the examination after a chargeback will lead to withheld/cancelled results.
  • Excess/unsuccessful fee amounts will be adjusted/refunded after due verification.
