Master’s Degree in Agronomy or Agriculture with Agronomy as a subject or Agricultural Chemistry or Soil Science or Agricultural Extension or Agricultural Economics or Agriculture Botany or; Master’s Degree in Botany or Forestry or Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
Experience
Possessing three years experience in the field of soil and water conservation or soil health management or rainfed or integrated farming and soil survey or problem soil reclamation and project formulation including agro-forestry projects in Central or State Government Department or Union Territory Administration or recognized research institution or Agricultural University or Public Sector undertaking or Semi-Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organization.
Duties
Implementation of NWDPRA in 28 states and 2 UTs, scheme of watershed development fund. Impact evaluation to concurrent evaluation of Watershed. Monitoring and evaluation of RADP, World Bank and other externally aided projects. All matters pertaining to rainfed farming and watershed development in the Ministry. HQ: New Delhi with liability to serve anywhere in India or abroad.
