- Government Securities Auction: 7.17%, 7.41%, and 7.25% GS for Sale in India
- The Government of India plans to conduct an auction for the sale of three government securities: ‘7.17% GS 2030,’ ‘7.41% GS 2036,’ and ‘7.25% GS 2063.’ The auctions will be held on June 23, 2023, and will be managed by the Reserve Bank of India. The notified amounts for the securities are Rs 7,000 crore, Rs 12,000 crore, and Rs 12,000 crore, respectively. - Gross Direct Tax collections for the current fiscal year have grown by 12.73 percent, reaching ₹4,19,338 crore. Net collections have increased by 11.18 percent, totaling ₹3,79,760 crore. The collections include Corporation Tax at ₹1,87,311 crore and Personal Income Tax at ₹2,31,391 crore. Additionally, Advance Tax collections for the first quarter of 2023-24 have grown by 13.70 percent, amounting to ₹1,16,776 crore. Refunds worth ₹39,578 crore have also been issued so far in 2023-24.

- IndiGo, an airline, has made the largest-ever single aircraft purchase with Airbus by ordering 500 A320 Family aircraft.
