- Possession of a valid driving license for Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) and Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) issued by the Competent Authority, valid throughout the period of re-engagement
- Retirement on superannuation from the Driver Cadre of DAE or its Constituent Units
