BRO celebrates their 64th raising day with a multi-modal expedition, collecting Soil, Water, and Saplings from 108 remote border locations to plant at BRO Alma Mater, BRO School and Centre in Pune.
Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is commemorating their 64th raising day by organizing a multi-modal expedition called “Ekta Evam Shradhanjali Abhiyan”. This event aims to honor the dedication and hard work of BRO Karmyogis in nation-building. The event will span across various modes of transportation, including motorcycles and motor cars, to collect Soil, Water, and Saplings from remote border locations.
1. BRO organizes “Ekta Evam Shradhanjali Abhiyan” Multi-Modal Expedition
Border Roads Organisation (BRO) is celebrating its 64th raising day by organizing “Ekta Evam Shradhanjali Abhiyan”. It is a multi-modal expedition to honor the sacrifices and contribution of its Karmyogis in nation-building. Lt. Gen. Rajeev Chaudhry, Director General Border Roads flagged off the Motor Cycle and Car rally teams on May 1, 2023, from Seema Sadak Bhawan in New Delhi.
2. Expedition Route and Collection of Soil, Water, and Saplings
The expedition team consists of motorbikes and motor cars, which started from the North East and Northern parts of the country. The motorcycle leg of the expedition commenced on April 14, 2023, from Kibithu in Arunachal Pradesh. The expedition members from 18 Projects collected Soil, Water, and Saplings from 108 remote border locations.

3. Plantation of Collected Items
The collected Soil, Water, and Saplings will be planted at BRO Alma Mater, BRO School and Centre in Pune. The Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Ajay Bhatt will flag in the Expedition teams at Pune on May 7, 2023, the 64th raising day of BRO.
