In an effort to foster collaboration and innovation in the realm of education, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the call for articles for the upcoming edition of CENBOSEC, its biannual e-magazine. This initiative serves as a platform for affiliated schools to share and exchange innovative pedagogical ideas while staying updated on the latest educational initiatives undertaken by the Board.

The theme for the forthcoming edition of CENBOSEC, spanning from January to June 2024, aligns with the objectives outlined in the New Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023. With a focus on experiential learning and interdisciplinary approaches, the theme revolves around “Art Integrated Learning: Integrating Art Activities into Lesson Planning.”

Schools are encouraged to contribute articles that explore various aspects of this theme, including innovative transdisciplinary and multidisciplinary lesson plans, as well as art integration strategies for STEM education. Additionally, students are invited to showcase their creativity by submitting cover designs that reflect the theme of the magazine.

Submission Guidelines and Criteria

Articles submitted for consideration must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Each article should include a title corresponding to one of the sub-themes, an introduction, the main content, a conclusion, reflections or best practices, and endnotes or references.
  • Authors must provide complete details, including a colored passport-size photograph, affiliation information, and contact details.
  • Submitted articles must be original and previously unpublished, written in either English or Hindi, and not exceed 1000 words or 2 pages (A4 size) including images.
  • Plagiarism will not be tolerated and will result in the rejection of the submission.
  • Articles should be formatted in MS-Word with 11-point Arial font and one-and-a-half spacing. Tables and images should be placed close to the relevant text, with appropriate captions and headings.
  • Citations should be included in endnotes, and authors are responsible for obtaining permission for any copyrighted material used.

Submission Process

Principals and teachers interested in contributing to the upcoming edition of CENBOSEC are invited to submit their articles using the provided Google Form link before the deadline of 15th April 2024. Similarly, students interested in showcasing their artistic talents can submit their cover designs using the designated Google Form link by the same deadline.

Principals and Teachers are invited to send their original articles in English or Hindi for the
present issue of CENBOSEC before 15th April, 2024 using the given Google form link

School students are also invited to send a cover design on the given theme for the present
issue of CENBOSEC before 15th April, 2024 using the given Google form link
https://shorturl.at/jlpCH. The best cover design submitted by a student will be acknowledged
in the bulletin and will be used in this issue.
