June 2023 GST Revenue Hits Rs. 1.61 Trillion, Marks 12% YoY Growth

In June 2023, the gross GST revenue collected is Rs. 1,61,497 crore, recording a 12% YoY growth. The revenue includes CGST, SGST, IGST, and cess. The government settled amounts to CGST and SGST from IGST. The total revenue for the Center and States after settlement is Rs. 67,237 crore and Rs. 68,561 crore, respectively. The revenues from domestic transactions are 18% higher compared to the same month last year. This is the fourth time the gross GST collection has crossed the Rs. 1.60 lakh crore mark. The monthly gross GST collections have shown an increasing trend.
