    • Important Changes to LRS and TCS: Updates on Tax Collection and Remittance Scheme

The total outlay for these schemes is Rs. 3,70,128.7 crore, with Rs. 3,68,676.7 crore committed to urea subsidy for three years. The Urea Subsidy Scheme ensures the availability of urea to farmers at a consistent price. The government has also increased fertilizer subsidies to protect farmers from rising prices. Additionally, plans are in place to commission eight Nano urea plants by 2025-26, which will contribute to higher crop yield and cost savings for farmers.

      • The Union Minister for Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises launched the ‘CHAMPIONS 2.0 Portal’, a mobile app for geo-tagging cluster projects, and the MSME Idea Hackathon 3.0 for women entrepreneurs. These initiatives aim to support the growth of MSMEs, which are expected to contribute 50% of the country’s GDP by 2030.
