Tenure:
- JRF: Initially appointed for 2 years with the possibility of extension or upgrade based on performance, subject to a maximum total period of 5 years.

- JRF: Between 28 and 35 years
- RA: Up to 35 years (as of the interview date)
Monthly Stipend:
- JRF: Rs. 37,000 plus HRA
- RA: Rs. 67,000 plus HRA
Educational Qualifications:
- JRF: M.Sc./M.V.Sc in first division with NET qualification or M.Tech in first division at both graduate and postgraduate levels.
- RA: Ph.D. in Agriculture Extension with at least one research paper in SCI journal.
