GENERAL INSURANCE CORPORATION OF INDIA RECRUITMENT OUT. MULTIPLE POSITIONS.

General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC) is inviting interested candidates to apply for the position of Actuarial Apprentice (Life and Non-Life Business). According to the official notification of GIC Recruitment 2024, there are 12 vacancies available.

Age Limit

The official notification of GIC Recruitment 2024 states that the minimum age limit for applicants is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 27 years.

Qualification Required

Candidates applying for GIC Recruitment 2024 must meet the following qualifications:

Graduation/Post-Graduation in Science with Mathematics or Statistics as a main subject from a recognized University.
Graduation/Post-Graduation in Commerce with Statistics/Actuarial Science as a main subject from a recognized University.
Graduation in Arts with Actuarial Science as a major subject from a recognized University.
Post-Graduate Diploma in Actuarial Science.
Passed at least two actuarial subjects of the exam conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) or the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA).

Salary

Selected candidates for GIC Recruitment 2024 will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 30,000 for the first year and Rs. 35,000 per month for the second year.

Tenure

The duration of the apprenticeship will be for a period of two years. An extension of one year may be granted if candidates pass six subjects by the end of the two-year apprenticeship to complete a total of seven subjects. The apprenticeship will be terminated if the candidate fails to pass a total of six subjects within two years.

Selection Procedure

Candidates will be selected based on an Interview/Group Discussion conducted by the committee. The final selection will also include a medical examination.
