The Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) is currently seeking candidates for various positions under Project Staff, including Research Associate, Junior Project Fellow, and Project Assistant. There are a total of 14 vacancies available for these roles.
Age Limit: Applicants interested in applying for ICFRE Recruitment 2024 must ensure that their age does not exceed 28 years as of March 1, 2024.
Qualifications Required:
- Research Associates: Candidates should hold a First Class M.Sc in Botany/Plant Sciences/Life Sciences (with a specialization in Plant Taxonomy) and a PhD in Botany/Forestry/Environmental Sciences. Additionally, familiarity with GIS platforms is desirable.
- Project Assistant: A First Class in B.Sc. in Botany/Zoology/Chemistry is required, along with knowledge of computer applications.
- Junior Project Fellows: Applicants should have a First Class in M.Sc in Botany/Forestry/Environmental Science/Agriculture/Botany. Familiarity with computer applications, GIS, and remote sensing is desirable.
Salary Range: Successful candidates selected through ICFRE Recruitment 2024 will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 19,000 to Rs. 47,000, as per the official notification.
Appointment Tenure: Selected candidates will be appointed for a period of 04 years, as per the terms mentioned in the official notification.
Selection Procedure: The selection process for ICFRE Recruitment 2024 will be based on the candidates’ performance in a walk-in interview.
