New Delhi, November 13, 2023 – In a noteworthy development, India is all set to host the 33rd Conference of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) Regional Commission for Asia and the Pacific. This significant event is slated to unfold from November 13 to 16, 2023, within the illustrious confines of the Taj Mahal Hotel in New Delhi. The opening and closing ceremonies will be officiated by the Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Shri Parshottam Rupala, alongside the Union Ministers of State for the same portfolio, Dr. Sanjeev Balyan and Dr. L Murugan.
The decision to convene this prestigious gathering was cemented during the 90th General Session of the World Assembly of Delegates of the WOAH, held in Paris in May 2023.
