As of 20th April 2023, India has administered over 220 crore vaccine doses under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive, including second and precaution doses. With a daily administration of 574 doses in the last 24 hours, the country’s active caseload currently stands at 65,286, which accounts for 0.15% of the total cases reported. The recovery rate currently stands at 98.67%, with 10,827 new recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 4,42,61,476. However, 12,591 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, with a daily positivity rate of 5.46% and a weekly positivity rate of 5.32%. In total, India has conducted 92.48 crore COVID-19 tests so far, including 2,30,419 tests in the last 24 hours.

India’s Vaccination Drive Progress
