Indian Air Force’s Rafale fighter jets are set to participate in France’s Orion 23 military exercise, along with thousands of NATO troops and various military equipment, including ground troops, warships, and combat aircraft. The exercise aims to enhance military cooperation and interoperability among participating nations and is scheduled to end in early May. The Golden Arrows squadron is expected to provide the aircraft for the exercise, and it is taking place amid the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, with NATO led by the United States opposing Russia’s moves. The exercise is reportedly the largest ever multinational exercise carried out by the French defence forces and involves their Army, Navy, and Air Force, along with their allies, the US and the UK.
