The Intelligence Bureau (IB) is in search of capable individuals to fill positions such as Deputy Director (Tech), Additional Deputy Director (Crypto), Joint Deputy Director (Exe), Deputy Central Intelligence Officer (Exe/ Tech/ Tech-Tele), and Senior Research Officer. There are a total of 157 vacancies available, and the educational criteria are specified on the IB’s official website.

Tenure and Application Process

Successful candidates will serve on a deputation basis, with the number of positions subject to adjustment based on committee requirements, as indicated in the IB Recruitment 2024 notification. Salary and Additional Benefits

The selected individuals will receive a monthly salary ranging from Level-10 to Level-13-A, accompanied by various supplementary benefits. Tenure Guidelines

The tenure of deputation will follow the guidelines set forth by the Department of Personnel (DOP) and the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), with an initial period of 3, 4, or 5 years, extendable up to a maximum of 7 years, as outlined in the IB Recruitment 2024 notification.
