The applicant must have an M.Sc in Geology/ Applied Geology or equivalent Specialization with a B.Sc having Physics/ Mathematics/ Geology as a compulsory subject.
For Research Scientist (RS 11)-
The applicant must have an M.E/ M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geoinformatics or equivalent Specialization With a B.E./ B.Tech in any branch of Engineering.
For Research Scientist (RS 12)-
The applicant must have an M.E/ M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geoinformatics or an equivalent Specialization With a B.E/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering/ Agricultural Engineering.
For Research Scientist (RS 13)-
The applicant must have an M.E/ M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geoinformatics or equivalent Specialization With a B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering/ Geoinformatics or equivalent Specialization.
For Research Scientist (RS 14)-
The applicant must have an M.E/ M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geoinformatics or equivalent Specialization With a B.Sc in Agriculture/ Forestry/ Horticulture (4 years degree).
For Project Scientist-I (PS02)-
The applicant must have an M.E / M.Tech in Remote Sensing and GIS / Geoinformatics or equivalent Specialization With a B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering/ Geoinformatics or Equivalent Specialization.
For Project Scientist-B (PSB01)-
