EdCIL (India) Ltd., a prestigious organization under the Ministry of Education, invites online applications for the recruitment of Consultants for the Centrally sponsored scheme of PM – Schools for Rising India (PM-SHRI). These positions are available on a contractual basis. PM-SHRI is a flagship initiative under the National Education Policy 2020, aimed at creating exemplary schools to ensure a safe and stimulating environment conducive to learning outcomes.

Vacancy Details:

1. Senior Consultant (Policy and Planning)

• Number of Positions: 1
• Age Limit: Maximum 40 Years
• Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Social Work, Public Policy, M. Tech, MBA, or a 2-year PG Diploma in Management with at least 60% from a recognized university.
  • 5 years post-qualification experience in the relevant fields of education planning and administration/policy formulation & implementation.
• Desirable: M.Phil/Ph.D., additional qualifications, research experience, and published papers in the relevant field.
• Consolidated Fee Range: ₹1,00,000 – ₹1,20,000

2. Consultant (Policy and Planning)

• Number of Positions: 1
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years
• Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Social Work, Public Policy, B. Tech, MBA, or a 2-year PG Diploma in Management with at least 60% from a recognized university.
  • 3 years post-qualification experience in the relevant fields of education planning and administration/policy formulation & implementation.
• Desirable: M.Phil/Ph.D, additional qualifications, research experience, and published papers in the relevant field.
• Consolidated Fee Range: ₹80,000 – ₹1,00,000

3. Consultant (Access & Infrastructure Development)

• Number of Positions: 1
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years
• Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, B. Tech (Civil) with MBA, or a 2-year PG Diploma in Management with at least 60% from a recognized university.
  • 3 years post-qualification experience in the relevant fields of Infrastructure Development/Civil Works.
• Consolidated Fee Range: ₹80,000 – ₹1,00,000

4. Consultant (ICT & Digital Initiatives)

• Number of Positions: 1
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years
• Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree/B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems/Technology with at least 60% from a recognized university.
  • 3 years post-qualification experience in the relevant fields of Information Systems/Educational Technology.
• Desirable: M.Phil, M.Tech, Ph.D, additional qualifications, research experience, and published papers in the relevant field.
• Proven skills/expertise in website and app design/development.
• Consolidated Fee Range: ₹80,000 – ₹1,00,000

5. Consultant (Finance & Procurement)

• Number of Positions: 1
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years
• Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration (Finance), CA, ICWA, or a 2-year PG Diploma in Finance & Management with at least 60% from a recognized university.
  • 3 years post-qualification experience in the relevant fields of Finance/Procurement.
• Desirable: M.Phil/Ph.D, additional qualifications, research experience, and published papers in the relevant field.
• Consolidated Fee Range: ₹80,000 – ₹1,00,000

6. Consultant (Quality & Innovation)

• Number of Positions: 1
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years
• Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Social Work, B. Tech, MBA, or a 2-year PG Diploma in management with at least 60% from a recognized university.
  • 3 years post-qualification experience in the relevant fields i.e. Pedagogy, Curriculum Development, Research & Evaluation, Assessment, etc.
• Desirable: M.Phil/Ph.D, additional qualifications, research experience, and published papers in the relevant field.
• Consolidated Fee Range: ₹80,000 – ₹1,00,000

• Engagement of Consultants will be on a full-time (contractual) basis in New Delhi/Delhi.
• The prescribed qualifications and experience should be acquired on or before 30/09/2023. Qualifications should be from Govt. recognized institutions.
• Strong oral & written communication skills with excellent working knowledge of computer (MS Word, MS Excel & Power Point, etc.) and presentation skills are required.
• The selection process will be based on academic/professional qualifications, experience, and may include a Test of Writing Skills/PPT and Interview.
• A waiting list will be prepared for the vacancies to accommodate suitable candidates based on experience and qualifications.
• Candidates working in Government organizations/PSEs must route their application through the proper channel if required.
• Documents to prove Qualifications, Experience, Age, etc., must be produced in the original when called for the test of writing skills and PPT and Interview.
• The engagement of consultants is purely on a contractual basis for a period of two years, extendable up to a maximum of five years based on project requirements and individual performance.
• The consolidated fee mentioned is inclusive of all allowances, etc.
• The last date of receipt of application is 08th Nov 2023.
