Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate degree from a reputed Indian or international institution/university in International Relations/International Law/Political Science/History/International Developments, preferably with a focus on migration.
- Expertise in the field of migration and mobility of Indian workers.
- Good writing and analytical skills.
- Proficient in English and any other foreign language.
- Proficient in computers.
Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in handling international migration policies.
- Experience in research to create overseas employment.
- Experience in resolving issues of overseas Indian workers in coordination with states, central government, and other organizations.
- Experience participating in international meetings involving discussions or negotiations on contemporary issues with global ramifications.
Desirable Criteria:
- Ph.D. or postgraduate degree from a reputed Indian or international institution/university in International Relations/International Law/Political Science/History/International Developments, preferably with a focus on international migration.
- Work experience with international organizations, international institutions, UN agencies, and the government of India.
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 25 Years
- Maximum Age: 50 Years
Salary:
- Maximum of Rs. 10 lakh per annum (deduction of applicable taxes)
Tenure:
- Initially 1 year, extendable as per the norms of the Ministry of External Affairs.
Place of Posting:
