National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has also set to introduced new textbooks for classes III and VI, which make a transformative changes in the educational framework.

NCERT, through a recent communication on 18.03.2024, has notified about the development of new syllabi and textbooks for Grades 3 and 6. These new resources are set to replace the existing textbooks published by NCERT until the year 2023. Additionally, NCERT is developing a bridge course for class 6 and creating guidelines for class 3 to facilitate a smooth transition for students to the new session aligned with NCF-SE 2023.
For the academic year 2024-25 commencing from 1st April 2024, there will be no change in the curriculum and textbooks for classes other than Grades 3 and 6.
