NCERT Recruitment 2023: Senior Research Associate and Junior Project Fellow Positions Available

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is currently accepting applications from eligible Indian candidates for the positions of Senior Research Associate and Junior Project Fellow. These positions are contract-based, and according to the official notification for NCERT Recruitment 2023, there are a total of two vacancies available. Successful candidates will be appointed for a tenure up to March 31, 2024.

According to the official notification, selected candidates for these positions will receive a monthly salary of up to Rs. 30,000. Interested candidates who wish to apply for the Senior Research Associate or Junior Project Fellow positions should be below 40 years of age. The selection process will involve a personal interview, which is scheduled to take place on June 12, 2023, at the conference room on the third floor of the DESS building, Janki Ammal Khand, near the State Bank of India (SBI) in NCERT.

Qualification and Experience Required:

For the Senior Research Associate position, candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in fields such as Psychology, Social Work, Human Development, Education, Bio Science, Reproductive Health, Home Science, Gender, Food & Nutrition, or Social Science, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent qualification (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates). Additionally, candidates should have at least two years of experience in the relevant area. Desirable qualifications for this position include an M.Phil/Ph.D. in the relevant area, B.Ed/M.Ed., NET qualification in the relevant subject area, research/teaching/content development experience in the relevant field, proficiency in English and Hindi, and knowledge/experience with computer and internet-based training applications, social media, and video/audio editing.

For the Junior Project Fellow position, candidates should hold a Master’s Degree in fields such as Psychology, Social Work, Human Development, Education, Bio Science, Reproductive Health, Home Science, Gender, Food & Nutrition, or Social Science, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent qualification. Desirable qualifications for this position include an M.Phil/Ph.D. in the relevant area, BPEd/MPEd., NET qualification in the relevant subject area, academic experience in relevant areas, proficiency in English and Hindi, and knowledge/experience with computer and internet-based meeting applications and social media.

Age Limit:

Candidates applying for the positions mentioned above should be below 40 years of age, as per the NCERT Recruitment 2023 official notification.

Salary:

The selected candidate for the Senior Research Associate position will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 30,000. The selected candidate for the Junior Project Fellow position, who has qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET), will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 25,000, while a non-NET qualified candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 23,000.

Tenure:

As per the NCERT Recruitment 2023 official notification, the selected candidates will be appointed for a tenure up to March 31, 2024.

Selection Process:
