NDA & NA: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the written result of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2023, which was held on 16th April, 2023. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check their result on the official website of the UPSC, www.upsc.gov.in.
As per the result, the candidates with the under mentioned Roll Nos. have qualified for interview by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence for Admission to Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of the National Defence Academy for the 151st Course and for the 113rd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd January, 2024. The candidature of all the candidates whose Roll Nos. are shown in the list is provisional.

Overview of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2023
The National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission twice a year for candidates who want to join the Army, Navy, and Air Force Wings of the NDA and the Indian Naval Academy. The examination is conducted in two stages: written test and SSB interview. The written test comprises two papers: Mathematics and General Ability Test. Candidates who clear the written test are eligible for the SSB interview, which is conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence.
Steps to Check the Result
Candidates who appeared in the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2023 can check their result on the official website of the UPSC, www.upsc.gov.in. Here are the steps to check the result:
- Visit the official website of the UPSC, www.upsc.gov.in.
- Click on the “Examination Results” tab.
- Select “National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2023” from the drop-down menu.
- The result will be displayed on the screen in the form of a PDF file.
- Candidates can search their Roll No. in the PDF file to check their result.
Interview Process
Candidates who have qualified for the SSB interview will have to register themselves online on the Indian Army Recruiting website, joinindianarmy.nic.in, within two weeks of the announcement of the written result. The successful candidates would then be allotted Selection Centers and dates of SSB interview, which shall be communicated on registered e-mail ID. Any candidate who has already registered earlier on the site will not be required to do so. In case of any query/ Login problem, e-mail be forwarded to dir-recruiting6-mod[at]nic[dot]in.
Submission of Original Certificates
Candidates are requested to submit original certificates of Age and Educational Qualification to respective Service Selection Boards (SSBs) during the SSB interview. The candidates must not send the Original Certificates to the Union Public Service Commission.
Mark-sheets
The mark-sheets of the candidates will be put on the Commission’s website within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of the final result (After concluding SSB Interviews) and will remain available on the website for a period of thirty (30) days.
