Panjab University Recruitment 2024, Apply for Non – Teaching Posts

Panjab University, Chandigarh is seeking applications from qualified candidates for various positions. Interested individuals are invited to apply on the prescribed format available on the P.U. website (www.jobs.puchd.ac.in). Applications must reach the Office of the Assistant Registrar(Estt.-II) (Non-Teaching), Third floor, Administrative Block, Dewan Anand Kumar Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh by 15.04.2024, up to 5.00 p.m.

1. Director Physical Education & Sports – 01

Pay-Band: Academic Level 14 with Entry Pay of Rs.1,44,200/-

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Physical Education or Physical Education and Sports or Sports Science.
• Minimum ten years of experience in Physical Education and Sports.
• Evidence of organizing competitions and coaching camps.
• Proven record of producing high-performance teams/athletes.

Physical Fitness Test Norms:

• Candidates must produce a medical certificate certifying their fitness.
• Norms for Men and Women detailed in the advertisement.

2. Librarian – 01

Pay-Band: Academic Level 14 with Entry Pay of Rs.1,44,200/-

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks.
• Minimum ten years of experience as a Librarian or Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science.
• Evidence of innovative library services and integration of ICT.

3. Director-01 (Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Computer Centre)

Pay-Band: Academic Level 14 with Entry Pay of Rs.1,44,200/-

Educational Qualifications:

• Ph.D. with 1st Class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in relevant field.
• Ten years of experience in Teaching/Industry/Research in IT related fields.
• Proficiency in Hindi/Punjabi and English language is essential.

4. Programmer-02 (Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Computer Centre)

Pay-Band: CPC: Level-10 with Entry Pay of Rs. 56,100/-

Qualifications:

• M.Sc.(IT) or M.C.A. or B. Tech (C.S.E.) or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in computing.
