Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has opened applications for eligible candidates to fill positions within the Scouts and Guides Quota of Eastern Railway, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), and Metro Railway for the year 2023-2024. These positions fall under Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ categories, with a total of 15 vacancies.
To be considered for RRC Recruitment 2023, candidates must meet specific age criteria. The minimum age requirement is 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 33 years for level 01 and 30 years for level 02 positions.
Selected candidates for RRC Recruitment 2023 will receive a monthly remuneration in levels 01 and 02 as per the official notification.

For Group ‘C’ positions, candidates must have passed the 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks, although this requirement is not applicable to SC, ST, ESM, PWD, and higher qualification holders. Alternatively, candidates can be 10th pass from a recognized board along with Act Apprenticeship/ITI approved by NCVT. For Group ‘D’ positions, candidates should have a 10th pass from a government board or 10th pass from a government-recognized board along with ITI/Act Apprenticeship approved by NCVT.
The selection process for RRC Recruitment 2023 includes two stages, a written test and marks on certificates.
To complete the application process for RRC Recruitment 2023, candidates have to pay an exam fee. SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Benchmark Disability/Women/Minorities/Economically Backward Class candidates are required to pay Rs. 250, while all other categories must pay Rs. 500.
