7. DRDO Successfully Tests Agni-5 Missile with MIRV Technology
The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) conducted a successful flight test of the Agni-5 missile equipped with Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicle (MIRV) technology. The Agni-5 missile, an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), has a range of 5,500 to 5,800 kilometers.
