India ranks 161st out of 180 countries in the 21st edition of the World Press Freedom Index 2023. The report by Reporters Without Borders underlines the political, social and technological changes in 180 nations. While Norway topped the index, India scored lower than Pakistan in terms of media freedom.

3. US-Based Inflection AI Company Launches Pi Chatbot

Inflection AI launched Pi Chatbot, an artificial intelligence agent designed to solve comprehensive human problems and discuss real-life situations. This is the first and largest model by the firm, founded by Reid Hoffman and CEO Mustafa Suleyman.

4. Home Ministry includes Millet in Meals of CAPFs & NDRF

Millet, a highly nutritious grain, will be part of the dishes of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). Thirty percent of millet will be given to army personnel under the International Year of Millets 2023 headed by PM Narendra Modi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah discussed this with all Indian forces.

5. Cyclone Mocha to soon strike India’s Eastern Coast

Cyclone Mocha is predicted to hit over the Southeast Bay of Bengal on May 06, 2023, as per the India Meteorological Department. The storm might move northward and may intensify near the Andaman Islands on May 09. The name “Mocha” has been given by Yemen.
