UIDAI (AADHAR) RECRUITMENT OUT

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), a government body in Chandigarh, India, is inviting applications from retired officers eligible for the position of Private Secretary on a contractual short-term service basis. This vacancy notice was officially released on 7th July 2023 as part of the UIDAI Recruitment 2023. The recruitment aims to fill one post with a consolidated monthly remuneration. The UIDAI Recruitment 2023 offers one post and an equal number of vacancies for the Private Secretary position. The terms of deputation for this role are short-term, initially for six months, with the possibility of extension for up to two years. The selected candidate will be posted at the UIDAI Regional Office in Chandigarh.

As per the UIDAI Recruitment 2023 official notification, the officers appointed to this position will be entitled to a monthly salary under the Pay Matrix Level. The monthly remuneration for the Private Secretary post is Rs. 25,000.

Regarding the maximum age limit for the UIDAI Recruitment 2023, eligible applicants/persons must be below 65 years of age as of the closing date for receipt of applications, as mentioned in the vacancy notice.

In terms of eligibility for the UIDAI Recruitment 2023, the official notification states that retired officers from the Central Government, State Government, Autonomous Bodies, and Public Sector Undertakings are eligible for the Private Secretary post. The officers should have held an analogous post in the parent cadre at the same Pay Matrix Level-8 or equivalent at the time of retirement. Alternatively, they should have had two years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level-7 or equivalent, or five years of regular service in the Pay Matrix Level-6 or equivalent at the time of retirement. Desirable qualifications/experience for this post include good stenography and typewriting proficiency as well as excellent computer skills.

The selection procedure for the Private Secretary post involves a viva-voce/personal interaction, as detailed in the UIDAI Recruitment 2023. Shortlisted candidates will be called in for personal interviews based on the eligibility criteria, including serving experience.

The deputation period for all four notified posts in the UIDAI Recruitment 2023 will span five years. However, the lending department has the authority to relieve an officer for a lesser period, as per their own policy/rules, provided it is not less than three years.

The general terms and conditions of officer services in the UIDAI will be governed by the Unique Identification Authority of India (Appointment of Officers and Employees) Regulations 2020 and the guidelines of the Central Government.
