UPSC Announces Results for CAPF (ACs) Examination 2023

New Delhi, September 27, 2023 – The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the results of the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2023. The examination, held on August 6, 2023, saw numerous candidates vying for the prestigious positions in various paramilitary forces. The results reveal the names of candidates who have qualified for the next phase of the selection process.

Qualification for Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Tests, and Medical Standards Tests

On the basis of the written part of the CAPF (ACs) Examination 2023, candidates with the following Roll Numbers have qualified for the Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Tests (PET), and Medical Standards Tests (MST):

It’s important to note that the candidature of all the candidates listed is provisional, subject to their meeting eligibility criteria in all respects. To proceed further in the selection process, candidates will be required to provide original certificates supporting their claims related to age, educational qualifications, and community during the Personality Test.

Important Notifications from the Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP)

The Indo Tibetan Border Police, nominated by the Ministry of Home Affairs as the Nodal Authority for this recruitment, will communicate the date, time, and venue of the PST/PET/MST to the qualified candidates. This information will be posted on their recruitment website at recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. Candidates will also receive their E-Admit Cards through the same website and via their registered e-mail IDs.

In case a candidate does not receive or is unable to download the E-Admit Card in due course, they are advised to contact the HQ, DG, Indo Tibetan Border Police at Telephone No. 011-24369482/011-24369483 or via e-mail at comdtrect@itbp.gov.in. Additionally, candidates can contact UPSC through letter or fax for prompt communication delivery.

Online Detailed Application Form (DAF) Submission

Candidates who have qualified in the written examination must register on the relevant page of the UPSC website before filling out the Detailed Application Form (DAF) online. During this process, they will also need to upload scanned copies of relevant certificates and documents supporting their eligibility and claims of reservation, among other details. The online DAF will be available on the UPSC website at www.upsc.gov.in in due course.

E-Admit Card Issuance for PST/PET & MST

Once the DAF has been successfully submitted, candidates will receive their E-Admit Cards from the Nodal Authority, ITBP, for appearing in the PST/PET & MST. To enter the test centers, candidates must carry the E-Admit Card along with a hard copy of the finally submitted DAF and a valid photo identity proof such as Aadhar card, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID card, etc.

Address Change Communication

Candidates are advised to promptly inform the HQ, DG, Indo Tibetan Border Police about any changes in their address. This can be done by contacting them at Block No. 2, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110 003 or by phone at 011-24369482/011-24369483. Alternatively, candidates can reach out to UPSC through letter or fax for address change notifications.

Accessing Marks-Sheets

Marks-sheets of candidates who did not qualify in the examination will be available on the UPSC website after the final results, including the Personality Test, are published. These marks-sheets will remain accessible on the website for 30 days. Candidates can retrieve their marks-sheets by entering their Roll Number and date of birth. Printed/hard copies of the marks-sheets will be issued by UPSC upon specific request along with a self-addressed stamped envelope. Such requests should be made within thirty days of the marks being displayed on the website.

Important Note Regarding CISF Appointments

The selection and appointment of Assistant Commandants in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) are subject to the final outcome of Writ Petition (Civil) No. 5877/2022 filed by Diwakar Pande & Ors. vs. Ministry of Home Affairs & Ors. in the High Court of Delhi at New Delhi.
