India’s COVID-19 Update: Vaccination, Recovery, New Cases, and Tests

The nationwide vaccination drive against COVID-19 has been successful in administering a total of 220.66 crore vaccine doses, including 95.21 crore second doses and 22.87 crore precautionary doses. In the last 24 hours, 397 vaccine doses have been administered.

India’s active caseload currently stands at 53,720, which is just 0.12% of the total cases reported. The recovery rate is currently at 98.69%, with 6,628 recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 4,42,23,211.

In the last 24 hours, there have been 10,753 new cases recorded with a daily positivity rate of 6.78%. The weekly positivity rate is 4.49%. A total of 92.38 crore tests have been conducted so far, with 1,58,625 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
